ERIQ BROWN

BIO

Eriq Brown has focused on coaching and developing leaders and teams for over ten years. He leverages a diverse background that spans Human Resource Management, operations management, teaching and coaching, and project management. Eriq has served on active duty for more than twenty-five years at every echelon of leadership.

 

Eriq has been a servant leader, supporting leadership development and strategies inside and outside the Department of Defense.  Eriq has also worked with leaders as they developed and implemented lean management and organized teams collaboratively as project management professionals.

 

Eriq brings a leadership focus from roughly three decades of military service and serving in many capacities as an Equal Opportunity Advisor to a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Project Manager. Eriq has performed in Asia, Southwest Asia, Europe, and North America.

 

Eriq’s role in supporting leaders and organizations includes

  • Team training and Mentorship (Resiliency Training)

  • Leadership development program design, development, and delivery

  • Shareholder and Stakeholder Management to Include (Agile Project Management)

  • Key talent acquisitions leadership training and development

 

Prior Roles

 

Eriq’s prior roles include Chief HR Manager for more than 37K employees. Project Manager for a Leadership Contracting for Federal Human Resource Management. Eriq recently worked in retail for one of the largest home improvement warehouses in the United States. Eriq recently transitioned from Active Duty Army as a Human Resource Advisor with five operational combat deployments and three where he was a key advisor to the strategic-level operations commander.

 

Eriq holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management/Finance from Liberty  University and a BA in Management Studies from The University of Maryland University College. He has completed certification programs for Lean Six Sigma and is a Certified Project Manager from the Project Management Institute via Syracuse University.
